The Reverón Piano Trio, founded by three of Venezuela’s most renowned classical musicians, promotes Latin American chamber music worldwide with its lively, dynamic, and exciting performances. The trio, comprised of violinist Simon Gollo, cellist Horacio Contreras, and pianist Ana María Otamendi, will perform music by Latin American composers Manuel M. Ponce (1882-1948), Eduardo Alonso Crespo (b. 1956), and Ricardo Lorenz (b. 1961).

The ensemble takes its name from Venezuelan painter and sculptor Armando Reverón (1889- 1954), one of the Americas’ earliest modernists and considered one of the most important visual artists in Latin America.
